Our Heritage
Nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, The Lord Raglan takes its name from Lord Raglan, the distinguished British commander of the Crimean War.
Though its exact origins reach back beyond living memory, the pub has long stood as a welcoming landmark in Staplehurst, a place where locals and travellers alike have gathered for good company, hearty fare, and genuine English hospitality.
In 2025, The Lord Raglan began an exciting new chapter, honouring its proud past while embracing a bright future.
